LBUC FINANCIAL AID PROGRAM CATEGORIES

Award: Up to $8,500

Programs for Teacher of the Year

LBUC fosters a welcoming atmosphere that values individuality and diversity. Outstanding students with impairments or difficult situations are supported to improve their academic performance.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Possess an impairment that is acknowledged
  • Live in a developing or impoverished nation
  • Household meets U.S. low-income definition
  • Be a spouse who stays at home

High Achiever Programs

Intellectually qualified students with outstanding educational records.

Award $6,000

Research Programs

Designed to draw top-tier students and encourage research activities.

Award $9,000

Military Programs

Tuition aid for active duty military personnel and discharged veterans.

Award $7,000

General Eligibility Criteria

  • Fulfill at least one of the four requirements for financial aid inclusion.

  • Must be formally admitted to Long Beach University of California’s curriculum.

  • Possess a solid academic background (Grades, CGPA, and test scores).

  • Active participation in extracurricular activities and community service.
